What a Dream! - A Review of the Curvy Kate Dreamcatcher Lemon Fizz in a 32J

Due to moving house and trying to settle in with a lot of packing and up-packing this last month and a bit I haven't been able to do a review! Now that I have an evening to do it, here it comes! (luckally I was able to find 5 mins to take a few pictures for this and they have been waiting for me to write this review!)

Do again excuse the not so great quality of these pictures... they are from my phone and I don't really have a steady hand.
First things first about this set... I LOVE THE COLOUR!!! Yellow isn't something I have seen much of, if at all, in larger cup lingerie. And I think it really goes well with my milky complexion. My love for the beautiful little blue bows is also out of this world!

The down side to this though is due to losing another few pounds (I'm trying to lose weight FWI 1 and a half stone so far, or 21 pounds, how ever you want to look at it) I can now do this us on the last set of hooks.... sad times! I have a rather small rib-cage and and I'm rather squishy for someone that's a UK size 16. So small bands are the only way to stop them from riding up past my shoulder blades! But I'm drifting from the subject!

Either way this bra is super comfy, the briefs too. The material is so soft and silky feeling on my rather large bottom! They are my favorite briefs to wear.

I love the dreamcatchers comfort factor! I almost forget I'm wearing it. The back is made up of 3 rows of 3 hooks and eyes, a huge plus in my book! Curvy Kate is great for adding that extra hook for G/GG+ cups. The shape is very lifted but I do feel a little east to west in it, I also feel it does gives rather a pointed look from the side not that it bothers me, but I know that it would for some ladies, I personally can't get enough of unpadded bras at the moment!

It's almost as if it just slopes down to a point when looking from a side view, but I can find a fault in nearly everything, so it is probably just me being overly critical.
As you can clearly see it is made up of a 3 part cup construction. very similar looking to the daily boost but just not padded. The cup has the beautiful embroidery detailing all over the cup of tiny little dreamcatchers (obviously the reason is has it's name) the top of the cup is a single layer of sheer material but the lower to parts have a second layer. The blue bows are as always with Curvy Kates detailing are one on each strap and one at the gore for the bra.

The bows are also on the briefs, I found that most briefs with curvy kate have a bow in the middle but the dreamcatcher sets have one on the left and right. which i think looks lovely!! It's something a little different! It also has a little bow at the back with a kind of peep hole I guess? I'm not really sure. But it looks SUPER CUTE! Do excuse the terrible bum! I have never had an amazing curvy perfect bum but this one is mine and I don't really care if its not perfect. It's my curve and I'm just gonna go with it!

I'm not sure if the wires are a little too wide or if its just due to my skin tag being rather irritable. But I am fully encased and the gore tacks against my sternum. The straps are fully adjustable so very good for ladies of all heights. As a short torso longer legs kind of girl this is very beneficial to me. Again a very happy Charlie! This was a great purchase, although it seems like I have a bit of an obsession with Curvy Kate at the moment! I guess it's just when you find a brand that fits, you can't stay away! makes me a bit scared to try others though.
I purchased my set from Bra Stop so if you like the look of it go check it out! At the moment there are SIX yes SIX colours to choose from (depending on your size and it's availability). There used to be a petrol blue one, but that is from many ranges ago... unfortunately! so there have been seven colours in total so far, I would love for them to makes this is a green colour. that would make my day!

A Review of The Tutti Rouge Nichole in "Powder Blue" 34HH,

Well here comes another review guys! Although my list of curvy kate bras feels as long as my arm, I thought my second review should be of a different brand. I'm also too lazy to take photos of any other sets, and I had these ready and waiting on stand-by, as ya do.
I ordered the Nichole in "powder blue" I use the quotation marks purely because I don't think it looks like the colour that you see on the stock photos when you get one home, personally I think it looks like a greeny/blue, like an aqua or a turquoise.

I haven't been able to get hold of the matching briefs but I usually pair it with a lace brief and that seems to work well I think, although I'm wearing black shorts for the pics as they aren't see through!
I love the shape I see straight on with this bra, it looks very rounded and lifted and my best friend, (who I show every new set I get in the post before usually deciding to keep) thinks it's a good look. My worries how ever, were the look it gives me from the side.

It seemed to be me just worrying over nothing as I don't think you can really see in the pictures. Living alone and with only a phone camera to take pictures with, results in poor selfies, sorry guys! At the top of the cup it almost feels like my boobs are folding upwards, a sort of bulging at the front of the cup if you will...

The lace does dig in a bit creating a sort of "quad-boob" effect, but isn't seen though any of my t-shirts. It is still very comfortable though.

 Oh and as I forgot to mention, this is an un-padded bra, with a 3 part cup construction and a lovely lace trim at the top of the cup, the band is fairly firm, but as this doesn't come in a J cup I sister size with a 34HH rather than a 32J which in most brands seems to be the best size for me. The wires come quite far back which is something I seem to find in all 3 of my tutti rouge bras. The band is made with 3 rows of 3 hooks and eyes, any less than that and I fail to feel supported.

I wore this on the loosest hooks for the pictures, but I can quite easily wear it on the the tightest quite comfortably. but the hooks haven't stayed very well at all, I always seem to have a problem with tutti rouge bras, if it's not barely wearing it and the wires popping out in the middle (like on my first betty) it's the hooks coming loose after about 6-7 wears, and my tallulah was a bit of an annoyance, as when I ordered it from the tutti rouge big cartel website, I received an e-mail a day later saying that they didn't actually have the size I ordered. as lovely as the ladies at tutti rouge were, it was rather annoying. I do love how beautiful their bras look though. which hasn't stopped me buying them no mater how many problems have surfaced.

All in all, I was happy with my purchase, I just wish there were less complications with my order, and that tutti rouge was a batter fit for me. I just seem to be the wrong shape to be 100% happy, but the excitement of how gorgeous they look with their colours and patterns sway me to keep them.

My First Review!! Curvy Kate Daily Boost 34HH

Well here it goes! My first review of any underwear for my blog! At it is the Curvy Kate Daily Boost in a 34HH. 

As you can see I opted for the white colourway, as I realized I didn't own a single standard bra! All of my recent purchases have been either awesome colours or patterned, meaning when I've wanted to wear a white t-shirt, I either haven't been able to do so or I have wear a white vest as well!!

I love how bright this bra is, not a huge fan of the nude detail but I over look it. Although I do really love how comfortable it is, apart for a few tiny issues but that may be due to my change in weight recently and not being 100% sure on what is the best size for me, there is no where in Exeter that I trust for bra fitting so when I get a chance to pop up to Cardiff to ravisimo is when i'll be going for a fitting.
I opted for a 34HH since that's the size that I have been buying a lot of recently I have a few bad fits that I new wouldn't be quite right but that's because I can't stand a loose band, so there fore don't sister size. The band rises up slightly throughout the day so I may have been better off with a 32J, but I was so excited to finally get this in the post after ordering it that I just couldn't wait to wear it. I had seen a few reviews of this bra before and was worried about how it would fit me.

The general shape I get from this bra is fairly rounded, especially from the front, I usually find that my right boob never quite fills a cup quite as nicely as my left but hey, unless you have had help is fairly normal to have a slight difference between the two. The gore sits flat against my chest, I don't get any gaping or wrinkling to suggest that the cup is too big I don't think. The straps are fully adjustable which is really a must for me when I buy bras as I think I'm quite high set with my chest.

The cup is made from a 3 part construction, like a pretty much every Curvy Kate bra I have. It also has a light foam padding though the cups which makes it so comfy! There is a slightly pointed look to the bar from an above or side view but its not like torpedoes so it's not something that puts me off. 

The back band has 3 hooks and eyes, another thing I love about this bra. (do excuse the awful pictures, taking a pic of your own back is difficult xD) Over all I'm very happy with the bra, although I think Curvy Kate are discontinuing this style and replacing it with the Daily Dream, if I can get hold of another I would probably get a 32J just for a firmer band, unless I lose a bit more weight and end up needing a 32HH, not that I would mind!

The sides come fairly high under my arms but I'm not exactly tall as I'm only 5ft5"
but it doesn't cause me any discomfort in anyway, so all around a pretty good investment when I bought myself this, very very happy!

The daily boost is still currently available at : Brastop and Belle Lingerie, I got mine from belle lingerie because at the time it was cheaper and there is free delivery on all UK orders

An Introdunction!

Well I'm completely new to the blogging scene but I thought "hey, lets give this a try!"
First off, Hello! my name is Charlie and this is my first ever attempt at blogging. I decided to try and give this a go due to wanting to write a few underwear reviews myself, just like the gorgeous Georgina Cox from http://fullerfigurefullerbust.com/ and the beautiful curvywordy. Who have both unknowingly helped me in my difficult choices in buying underwear.

If it wasn't for these women I wouldn't even know about amazing brands like curvy kate, tutti rouge or parfait by affinitas!! or that I wasn't a 38G like the people in ann summers said, but more like a 34HH!! which I didn't even know was a size that was as common as it is!

They also helped me learn that bra sizes aren't the same for every brand, and that it is possible to look good above a size 12-14! If I had more money at my disposal I would have an even bigger collection than I do right now!
But I have 2 ritzy's in different colour ways, 2 porita's, a dreamcatcher, a princess, a smoothing, a starlet, a temptress, all curvy kate sets.
A tallulah tattoo, a nichole and a betty in tutti rouge and 3 parfait charlotte's in red, ice blue and purple.
I plan on buying even more bras when I can afford them. When I have a bit of time on my hands I will be posting reviews with pictures to show how they fit on myself, and if people find them helpful then great!!
